So much cleaner!

I’ve always struggled with cavities between my teeth and now gum disease, sigh. I’m only 31. Even though I floss daily we weren’t seeing improvement. So I found this and wanted to give it a go! I can already tell my teeth and gums are cleaner!
Note: using it does take a couple weeks to get used to! For the first week or so I flossed half my teeth with this and the other half with regular floss until I got a handle on it. Keep at it! Thanks for making this product!!

Thank you so much for this feedback. This is exactly why we created the Slate Flosser, to help get a deeper and more efficient floss! Also, thanks for sharing that it took you a bit to get the hang of, but to stick to it. That may be the case for some, but if you stick with it you do end up getting the hang of it. Best of luck to you on your Oral Health journey!

Remarkable

The Slate Flosser takes getting used to but it is remarkable after you get the hang of it. I have very tight teeth and I used 8 heads in the first 3 days (which some may literally cry about). Now I am using 2 per week. Manufacturer suggests 1 head per week, not 1 to 3 weeks as some reviews say.

Thanks for sharing your valuable feedback about the Slate Flosser. It is true that it does take some getting used to for your specific mouth. We are so glad you got the hang of it and are getting the heads to last longer!

I have some teeth that are very close together. In 19 days I have broken 2 of the wires and am now on my third floss head. For that reason it could be expensive for me to replace the floss heads often. I do like the flosser and think it is making a difference. I have a very bad plaque problem and get my teeth cleaned every three months. When I see my hygienist next I will be very interested to hear what she has to say about any improvement.

Hi Lorraine,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. It may take a week or so to get used to how to use the Flosser. We recommend watching our YouTube videos to watch how it's done and also to see some tips that help when using! Let us know what your hygienist says, we'd be interested to hear!

Disappointed

The vibrating mechanism works well, but the floss broke before I was even done flossing one time. The dentist that recommended this said the floss head lasts 2 to 3 weeks. The heads are way too expensive to break that often. Can I return this

Edmund,

We are so sorry to hear that you have not enjoyed your experience with our Electric Flosser. For some, it may take a week or so to get used to how to use the Flosser without breaking the floss. It also helps to insert it at an angle instead of straight on. I went ahead and emailed you regarding your return options. Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Makes flossing easier

While I am loving the fact that this makes flossing a whole easier I am a bit disappointed in the durability of the floss heads. They come advertised as lasting between 1 to 3 weeks based on tooth tightness. Well, my floss heads last 3 days at best. While I do think the design and ease of use of the unit itself is great, I'm not sure I will continue buying the heads if I am going through 3 to 4 per week.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We have found that the more you use the Flosser the more familiar you get with it, making the floss heads last longer. However, we are also working on more designs for other floss options,
