All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after you receive your order confirmation email. You will receive a separate notification with tracking information when your order is ready to ship. Tracking may take several hours to 1 day to show updates.
Please note that processing times may be extended during periods of high order volume, holidays, or due to carrier delays outside of our control.
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout unless otherwise stated.
Expedited shipping options will also be shown at checkout. Please keep in mind that delivery times are estimates and begin once the order has shipped. Please note that not all expedited shipping methods provide a guaranteed delivery timeframe.
Expedited shipping costs are not refundable.
We offer international shipping to select regions. Select your country and enter the shipping address to see if shipping is available to your location.
For international orders, Slate partners with Zonos to provide transparent, landed‑cost pricing at checkout.
Depending on your destination, you may see duties, taxes, VAT, and customs fees calculated and collected at checkout. When these charges are prepaid - your order is shipped Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) and no additional duties or taxes should be due upon delivery.
If duties and taxes are not collected at checkout, they may be assessed by your local customs authority upon delivery and are the responsibility of the customer.
Please note:
Customs authorities may require additional information or documentation and may reach out to you directly. Customs clearance delays are outside of Slate’s control and it is not uncommon for international shipments to take 20+ days to arrive.
Expedited shipping options refer to faster transit times once an order has shipped and do not guarantee a specific delivery date unless explicitly stated at checkout.
Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Carrier delays due to weather, customs processing, or other circumstances outside of our control may occur.
Expedited shipping fees are non-refundable, including in cases of carrier delay, once an order has been processed or shipped.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to update.
If you have not received your order within: - 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation (US orders) or 21 days (international orders), please contact us at support@slateflosser.com with your name and order number and we can assist with filing a shipping insurance claim if needed.
We ship to PO Boxes via USPS only. UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to PO Boxes.

We offer a 30‑day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return: You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase - Floss Head packages must be unopened to qualify for a refund.
Opened Floss Head packages are not eligible for return or refund.
To start a return, please contact support@slateflosser.com. If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions and a return shipping label for eligible US returns. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact support@slateflosser.com as soon as possible with your order number and a photo of the item(s). We review these cases individually and will work toward a satisfactory resolution.
Slate is unable to provide prepaid return labels for international orders. International customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please contact support@slateflosser.com before returning any items.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us.
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 30 days, for any reason and without justification, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws. Proof of purchase is required.
