I like this flosser. I feel that my teeth are being cleaned better than ever before.
I started using the Slate electric flosser because my fingers, hands and wrists were no longer happy using regular floss. The flosser has made a world of difference for me and my old hands! I LOVE it.
My most recent order arrived completely trashed by the USPS machinery. Slate promptly replaced the lost loss heads. Thanks Slate!

Such a great product! I've never flossed this much until I discovered Slate.
I used to use a handheld flosser similar to Slate that didn't vibrate and it really helped me to floss because it was all around easier than handling floss, especially because I have very tight teeth, but I didn't like the waste I was producing going through the heads so I stopped replacing them and went back to strangling my fingers with floss until I saw a functional dentist I follow recommending Slate. I was mostly sold by that recommendation, but learning that I can send my used floss heads back to Slate to be recycled was a game changer and made me feel great about the decision so now my teeth and gums are feeling better as well (:

I don't change the floss head with every use, just rinse it. I kove being aable to cover it until the next use.

I wasn't a regular flosser - until I bought this set. I started with the Mini, then graduated up to the Origin. Now I'm obsessed with the deep clean feeling and can't go more than a day without flossing. Slate - you changed my life!
Game changer. As a dental hygienist I enthusiastically recommend Slate products to my patients because of the quality & health results. I also use it every day in my oral hygiene routine. I have tried other electric flossers & Slate is by far superior.
This has been a game changer for me! I have a strong gag reflex, so flossing has always been a challenge for me, especially my back teeth. But the size and shape of the slate flosser make it easy to get to those back teeth without gagging.
My teeth are close together, and the floss has never shredded or broke the way it does on those little cheap flosser picks. And I love the gum massagers on the side.

Love my slate flosser. I have tight teeth, sensitive gums, and arthritic hands, so flossing was nearly impossible before. Now I have no excuse!
The floss doesn't get stuck between my teeth and leach head lasts for at least a couple of weeks, unlike most disposable flossers. Plus you can send them in for recycling.
This is the best way to floss, especially for those hard-to-reach spots that did not get enough attention. The price is reasonable for anyone thinking about buying. The only thing I would suggest is to somehow upgrade the power button. For me, that is sometimes a challenge to active because it recessed below the handle.
I’m only getting two or three uses per floss part. A couple of my teeth are very close together and shred the floss. I did get the smooth version as recommended. The contraption does make flossing a lot easier! Holding floss with my hands usually makes me gag….
I love the style of the floss heads (the 2 little rubber pieces to massage the gums) but the description says to change weekly. I can’t get the floss past 2 days without the string breaking, making the heads very costly for me.
I really wanted to raving review, but I can’t. I have several crowns and the floss breaks about every other day. It’s supposed to last for a week, but maybe it does if you have all natural teeth, but if you have crowns, I wouldn’t bother.
We have had our Slate flossers for about a month and they’ve quickly become a fave in our household. Dare I say, Slate makes flossing something we both look forward to twice a day now. Thank you, Slate! Can’t wait for my next dental checkup!

I see this product as helpful for those who can't (or prefer not to) use the C - shape flossing technique with their fingers (with string floss), whether their fingers are too big, have mobility or coordination issues, or just have a preference.
It feels like one of those plastic flossers, but it has a vibration aspect. The side gum brushes and tongue scraper set it apart from the other electric flossers out there, but I believe string floss is still superior, and will be sticking with that.
We'll keep it at the office for patients to feel it.
