Slate Origin Electric Flosser (Box of 6)

The Slate flosser has been a great addition to the small line up of products I use daily. I love how easy it is to use.

Amazing battery operated flosser. I have the pro and before I got this one mainly for work since I do graveyards I was worried about the power output compared to the pro version. The power is literally about the same slightly less than the max output of the pro. Slimmer design but overall great flosser. My only gripe is the power button to turn it on is slightly pushed in and is smaller vs the pro. Why is this a problem because I have big fingers and sometimes I have to press the button with my finger at an angle to press it all the way in. That is a petty complaint but it is there. Also the battery cover. I wish it was not something you needed a coin for. I wish it was something you could just open with your hand. Besides that amazing product. If those two things would get revised this would be a 5 out 5 product.

I simply love my new slate flosser, me and my toddler love to do our floss routine and he loves his mini slate.

I’ll be honest, Slate is the only reason I’ve become a daily flosser:) So when the Origin came out, I had to try it. I love that it uses the same floss head refills I already have (so easy), and the battery-powered setup makes it perfect for travel: no cords to deal with 🙌 It’s simple, super convenient, and just works. Already a big fan of the Pro, and this is such a great addition! Love!!

At my last dental cleaning I was told I had a few spots of concern with the deterioration of my gums and would potentially need surgery to relocate healthy gum and to flush out the gingivitis. They gave me till my next cleaning to see if I could improve the situation before the next steps. They weren't optimistic but I immediately started using the Slate Flosser with the recommended mouthwash and I just had my cleaning where I shocked them! Those gum spots that were previously 5's & even 6's were now 2's & 3's and I got to avoid a more serious situation! I was a flosser before but now I have every confidence that the Slate flosser is far superior tool to get and keep my mouth healthy. Thank you Slate team!

I used to lie to my dentists all the time and tell them that I was flossing. I wasn't, but I am now because I got this from Slate. This thing is awesome, it works well, and doesn't hurt my gums!

What I love personally about this is because of the vibrations and the floss is able to wiggle itself between my teeth and get a good cleaning up there so I don't have to worry about that periodontal disease anymore. I love it because the floss doesn't break when I get into my tight contacts. I love it because it's so fast to floss now..........

Alright, all you non-flossers, this video is for you. I used to be one of you. I used to always joke at the dental hygienist that they were the last ones to floss my teeth. and that really wasn't far from the truth until I came across this Slate Flosser here.........

I’ll start off by saying, I’ve been a registered dental hygienist for 12 years. I’m always looking for new products to help my patients achieve optimum oral health. This 3 in 1 electric flosser is such an awesome device to help reach into those contact areas! I have super tight contacts and often break regular floss picks. The refill heads have a very sturdy floss that I’ve been able to easily adapt between my teeth without shredding the floss. The gentle vibrations feel like a nice massage with the gum sweeps. This flosser is a MUST if you have trouble with standard flossing, and easily gets into those hard to reach molar areas!!!

Due to a recent finger injury, the common way of wrapping loose floss around your fingers isn’t in the cards anymore. I looked up electric flossers and am so so happy with this! It makes a world of difference both in ease of use and mouth feel/cleanliness. I’m actually flossing every night now and it doesn’t feel like a burden. The single speed main unit is perfectly adequate and the deal of including the mini travel one with some extra heads and head covers is unbeatable.

Love my flosser! For the first time in 40+ years I actually floss regularly. It took a day or two of getting the hang of how to do it smoothly, but once you get it, it’s super easy and quick and efficient. I get to spots I could never get with a regular floss before. I even have my little ones using my travel size one. And they look forward to doing it as well.

Day 1 - effective, easy to use even with my tight teeth, definitely manageable with my executive function issues surrounding flossing. Might come back to update after multiple uses!

We all know cleaning between the teeth is the biggest challenge for the majority of our patients and this is a huge help because it's far more effective that those flossers but still supports what the research shows-tools that only require one hand to operate are far more likely to be adapted that tools that require both hands. Aka floss is not boss.

I like what I see so far. I have been using the floss for almost a month and enjoy it.

Great device, no longer charges

I actually enjoy flossing now with this flosser! What used to be a very daunting task is now something I look forward to. I'm sorry I didn't invest in one sooner. It's easy to use and doesn't hurt my gums.

Brushing my mouth gets my teeth clean -- but the Origin gets my mouth CLEAN clean. Plus, my bloody gums were resolved after only 5 days of flossing... I wish I'd found this flosser sooner!!

I am loving this electric flosser! Its made flossing so much easier. What was a tedious task, is now something I look forward to. The floss is very strong and gets between my back teeth with ease.

Floss shreds very easily. Does not even last one complete use.

String is strong for my tight teeth. I like that only have to change the head once a week. Tongue scraper works really well. And I appreciate the cover so I feel like it stays clean. Can't comment on battery life just yet.

Much easier to regularly floss. Still have wisdom teeth and able to floss back there.

My items I received in this box were incredible! I was waiting to make this review so I could fully test them and see the benefits. I absolutely love both the electric flosser and the manual. I will be recommending both to my patients. Thank you Slate!

Slate Origin Electric Flosser

The Slate Electric Flosser is really easy to use. Many of my patients complain about not being able to use regular floss. This device removes that issue! There are no reach issues, and the clean feeling is wonderful.

Works well but not cost effective for our office.

I love it but it may not be for everyone. The flosser is great and I have to imagine the vibration allows for greater accessibility and greater biofilm disruption meaning less inflammation over all. Some folks may find the vibration too much and in that case the mini would be perfect for you!
